A Night to Celebrate U.S.–Japan Relations
The Silent Auction is part of the Japan-America Society’s premier annual fundraiser, the Sun & Star Legacy Award Dinner, taking place May 23, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The gala honors key individuals strengthening ties between the U.S. and Japan.
This year’s Sun & Star Legacy Award recipient is Douglas S. Moore, Former President and CEO of Fujitsu Network Communication, Inc., Fujitsu North America, Inc., and Head of the Americas Region. The Bridges-to-Friendship Award will be presented to Elaine Browning, Former Board Chair, Chair of the Dallas-Sendai International Friendship City Committee of the Japan-America Society of Dallas / Fort Worth.
“The Sun & Star Legacy Award Dinner is more than a celebration—it’s a catalyst for global connection,” said Lawrence P. Howorth, Chair of the Board of Directors. “And the auction gives everyone a chance to participate, no matter where they are.”
