 The Young Professionals Committee organizes activities to address the interests of younger members of JASDFW. "Young” and “professional” are broadly defined – everyone is welcome.

Japanese Elvis Concert
Toki Toyokazu, a professional Elvis impersonator from Sendai, performed at our special MIYABI event.

March 2007
MIYABI Movie & Mixer Night
AFI Dallas and the Asian Film Foundation of Dallas presented the Japanese film Linda Linda Linda at the The Magnolia Theater.  Afterwards, there was a brief Q&A with director Nobuhiro Yamashita.

 An Evening of Asian Art - Artist Dialog/Gallery Tour/Wine Reception

Marty Walker Gallery presented Between Reality and Illusion, a group exhibition featuring works by Asian contemporary artists Michiko Kon, Kana Harada (in attendance), Li Yongbin, Liu Ren, Xizoze Xie, Liu Ding, Shintaro Sato, and Hiroyuki Doi. MIYABI and JADE organized this exclusive gallery event.
