What is the Grassroots
Summit?
The Japan-America Grassroots
Summit is an annual
gathering of
Japanese and American
citizens – held alternately
in Japan and the
U.S. – which aims to
strengthen the peaceful
relationships between
the two countries by
fostering friendships at the
grassroots level.
How Do I Get Involved?
Be a Host!
The local session is the
heart of the Summit. Each
visitor will become part of
a community and experience
daily life in an American
home for 3 days and nights.
Each local session will
include group activities, as
well as free time for hosts
and guests to enjoy
together.
